Terms of use

The rules for using MyHouse, written as plainly as we could.

The service

MyHouse is an app for running a home together with the people who live in it: pantry, medicines, household products, clothes, lists and expenses. It is developed by Andrea Boscarin and Federico Zardo (myhouse.proj@gmail.com). It is currently free and being tested: some features may change, stop for a while or contain errors. In the future there may be an optional subscription for extra features; its conditions will be shown to you first, and we will never turn it on without your choice.

Medicines and health

MyHouse is not a medical device and does not replace your doctor or pharmacist. Dose reminders may arrive late or not at all (for example if the phone is off, out of battery or notifications are blocked): for important treatments don’t rely on the app alone. For doses and warnings, the leaflet in the package and your doctor’s advice always come first.

Automatic readings and estimates

Artificial intelligence readings, estimated expiry dates, recipe and outfit suggestions and the weather are there to help and can be wrong: always check before saving, and before eating something close to its expiry date. Expense balances help you agree at home and have no accounting or tax value.

Fair use

Liability

We do our best to keep MyHouse working and your data safe, but we can’t guarantee the app will always be available or error-free. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage caused by using the app. Your consumer rights, and our liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, always remain.

Privacy

How we handle your data is explained in the app privacy policy.

Changes

If we change these terms in an important way, we will tell you in the app before they apply. If you don’t agree, you can delete your account.

Governing law

Italian law applies, together with the consumer protection rules of the country where you live. Any dispute falls under the court of the place where you live.
