Privacy policy

This page explains what happens to the email you leave on myhouse-app.com to become a tester of the MyHouse app. The Italian version is the reference text.

Who handles the data

The data controllers are Andrea Boscarin and Federico Zardo, who develop MyHouse. For any question or request, write to myhouse.proj@gmail.com.

What data we collect

Only the email address you enter in the form and the date you sign up. The site uses no cookies. In your browser it only stores whether you closed the language notice, so it isn’t shown again: no tracking. Like any website, the service that hosts it may log visitors’ IP addresses for technical and security reasons.

To block bots, the home page uses Cloudflare Turnstile: it checks the browser without making you solve puzzles and only rarely asks you to click. To do this Cloudflare processes technical browser data and the IP address, according to its Turnstile privacy policy. Our site also uses the IP address to limit repeated sign-ups from the same network, without storing it.

To know how many people visit the site we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, the statistics service of Cloudflare, which hosts the site. It uses no cookies and does not follow visitors from one site to another: for each visit Cloudflare processes technical data such as the IP address, the browser, the page viewed and the site you came from, and shows us only overall numbers (visits, pages, countries, referring sites), with nothing that identifies you. It does so according to its privacy policy.

Why

To invite you to the closed test of the app on Google Play and to write to you about the test: instructions, updates, requests for feedback. No advertising, and the email is not passed on to anyone for commercial purposes.

Visit statistics are only used to understand how many people reach the site and from where, so we can improve it.

On what basis

Your consent, which you give by sending the form (Article 6(1)(a) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679, the GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time.

For visit statistics, our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR), with overall numbers only.

Where it is kept and who sees it

Emails are stored in a Supabase database with servers in the European Union, in Ireland, and only the people who run MyHouse can see them. To enable you for the test, your email is added to the list of testers in Google Play Console, managed by Google according to its privacy policy.

For how long

Until the end of the test programme, then we delete it. Sooner, if you ask us.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your email, and withdraw your consent, by writing to myhouse.proj@gmail.com from the address you signed up with. If you think your data is being handled improperly, you can contact the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
